The MS5803-14BA is a next-generation high-resolution pressure sensor featuring both SPI and I²C digital interfaces. The MS5803-14BA HE variant is specifically designed for high-endurance applications, optimized for precise depth measurement with water depth resolution down to 1 cm or less. It integrates a highly linear pressure sensor with an ultra-low power 24-bit ΔΣ ADC, including factory-calibrated coefficients for accurate pressure and temperature readings. The sensor offers multiple operation modes, enabling users to balance conversion speed and power consumption. Its high-resolution temperature output supports depth sensing and thermometer functionality without the need for additional sensors. With a simple communication protocol that eliminates register programming, the MS5803-14BA can easily interface with any microcontroller. Encased in a gel-protected, antimagnetic stainless steel cap, the sensor withstands overpressures up to 30 bar, making it highly water-resistant. Leveraging TE Connectivity’s advanced MEMS technology and extensive experience in high-volume pressure module production, this sensor delivers exceptional performance with low hysteresis and high stability in both pressure and temperature measurements.
