The Sensirion SEN50-SDN-T Environmental Sensor PM2.5, Temp, RH, Digital is a highly precise environmental sensor module measuring PM2.5, temperature, and relative humidity. It offers a rapid sampling interval of 1 second and a lifetime exceeding 10 years under continuous operation. The sensor detects particulate matter from 0.3 to 10 µm with calibrated accuracy and temperature compensation. Operating optimally between 10–40 °C and 20–80% RH, it provides stable, low-noise output and fast response times for reliable environmental monitoring.   Note: Refer to datasheet in the ATTACHMENTS section for more info. regd. the product.

Features:

  1. All-in-one sensing: PM1.0 to PM10, VOCs, CO₂ equivalent, Temp, RH
  2. Calibrated against TSI DustTrak™ for PM2.5 accuracy
  3. Fast startup: As quick as 8s based on particle concentration
  4. Very low acoustic output (24 dB at 0.2 m)
  5. Long lifetime with minimal drift
  6. Fully digital output via I²C interface
  7. Robust to EMI/ESD (IEC-compliant)

Package Includes:

1 x Sensirion SEN50-SDN-T Environmental Sensor PM2.5, Temp, RH, Digital

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
