Perimeter security radar SR60 is the latest short-range perimeter security radar sensor launched by Nanoradar, which uses the 60GHz ISM band to accurately measure the target distance, Angle, speed and other information by transmitting radio electromagnetic waves. The radar is small in size, high in sensitivity, light in weight, easy to integrate and stable in performance. The detection distance is up to 60 meters, and the intrusion target can be automatically detected and tracked in the detection area.

Application:

Family yard security, railway platform security, power tower security, railway gate monitoring, demonstration teaching, etc.

Features:

  1. Moving target detection radar operating in 60GHz-ISM band
  2. Can identify all kinds of moving objects within 60 meters, 1m²
  3. Advanced DBF technology accurately detects the target's azimuth Angle, pitch Angle, distance and other information
  4. Protection class IP66 for outdoor applications
  5. Good compatibility, easy system integration, standard Ethernet port (TCP/UDP)
  6. 7*24h all-weather real-time protection, adapt to rain, snow, fog, haze, sand and other bad weather

Package include:

1 x NANORADAR 60GHz MMW radar Perimeter security radar SR60

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
