Introduction: Atom-Matrix v1.1 is an iterative upgrade of the Atom-Matrix. This product replaces the MPU6886 from the previous generation with a BMI270 six-axis IMU sensor, effectively improving attitude detection accuracy and response speed, making it better suited for high-precision applications such as motion capture and attitude control. The main controller adopts the ESP32-PICO-D4 solution with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and onboard 4 MB SPI flash. It also features an infrared emitter and a 5×5 RGB LED matrix display. A programmable button is located beneath the LED matrix, supporting custom trigger L0GIC for convenient implementation of IR remote control, visual interaction, and command triggering. This product is ideal for embedded development and prototyping scenarios that require high-precision attitude detection, infrared remote control, and visual interactive feedback.

Features:

1. Compact ESP32‑PICO‑D4 core module with integrated Wi‑Fi for IoT and embedded projects.
2. Front‑side 5×5 addressable RGB LED matrix for icons, animations and status indication.
3. Built‑in BMI270 IMU enables motion capture, gesture control and attitude analysis.
4. USB Type‑C and HY2.0‑4P Grove port for easy connection to sensors, actuators and power.
5. On‑board programmable button, IR transmitter and reset key for interactive control.
6. Supports UiFlow graphical programming, ArduinoIDE and MicroPython with online tutorials and examples.

Package Includes:
1 x ATOM Matrix V1.1 ESP32 Development Kit

Product Safety Information

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
