The SN-300XD2-HWB-N01 Infrared Microwave Dual Detection Alarm is a high-stability dual-technology security sensor combining passive infrared (PIR) and microwave detection. Powered by an 8-bit low-power CMOS processor, it offers ultra-high detection accuracy and excellent anti-false alarm capabilities through advanced signal processing. Designed for ceiling installation, it detects human movement within a 6-meter diameter area and provides 360° coverage, making it ideal for homes, warehouses, offices, and commercial spaces.

The sensor supports RS485 output with the standard ModBus-RTU protocol for seamless integration and secondary development. Its wide 10–30V DC power input, automatic temperature compensation, and strong interference resistance ensure reliable performance. With flexible alarm delay settings and remote configuration options, it’s an efficient solution for modern security systems.

Features:

  1. Dual PIR and microwave detection technology
  2. High-stability 8-bit low-power CMOS processor
  3. Advanced signal analysis for ultra-high detection and false alarm rejection
  4. 360° detection with a 6 m diameter range (at 3.6m height)
  5. RS485 output supporting ModBus-RTU communication
  6. Adjustable alarm delay time (0-65535 seconds)
  7. Automatic temperature compensation

Package Includes:

1 x SN-300XD2-HWB-N01, Infrared Microwave Dual Detection Alarm (RS485)

2 x Screw

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
