The LC ICL8038 module is designed for common frequency ranges. It is adjustable from 5 gears and generates low-distortion triangular waves, square and sine waves from 10Hz to 450KHz. A sine wave can be used for test signals, drive signals, carrier frequency signals, etc; a square wave can be used for switching signals, trigger signals, etc; the triangular wave is mainly used for scanning signals.

Function:

  1. VCC, GND: working voltage
  2. AC: with DC bias output
  3. G: ground
  4. DC: pure signal output
  5. R11: Frequency adjustment
  6. R12: Square wave duty cycle adjustment
  7. R13: Sine wave linear adjustment
  8. R14: Amplitude adjustment
  9. R15: Square wave linear adjustment
  10. Jumper P2: select different wave-forms(triangular, square or sine waves)
  11. Jumper P3: select different frequency ranges 10Hz-450Hz,90Hz-1.5KHz,940Hz-15KHz,6KHz-120KHz,20KHz-450KHz

Features:

  1. The LC ICL8038 module is designed for common frequency ranges.
  2.  It is adjustable from 5 gears and generates low-distortion triangular waves, square and sine waves from 0Hz to 450KHz.
  3. Sine waves can be used for test signals, drive signals, carrier frequency signals, etc.
  4. A square wave can be used for switching signals, trigger signals, etc; the triangular wave is mainly used for scanning signals.
  5.  Portable design, easy to operate.

Package Includes :

1 x ICL8038 12V to 15V Signal Generator 10Hz-450KHz Module

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
