This is Arducam LK004 CS-Mount Lens Kit for Raspberry Pi HQ Camera (Type 1/2.3), 6mm to 25mm Focal Lengths, 65 to 14 Degrees, Telephoto, Wide Angle, Pack of 5. In order to meet the new demands of the lens to work with Raspberry Pi High-Quality Camera, Arducam selected and tested a wide range of CS-mount lenses for shooting on your Rpi HQ cameras. It’s now much easier for you to get the best lens you’ll need, and we will keep the lens list growing in the near future.

Features:

  1. What’s special – Adapt the CS-Mount of the Raspberry Pi High-Quality Camera to access compact and cost-effective CS-mount lenses, and 5 are included in this box – 25mm/16mm/12mm/8mm/6mm focal length and 14/24/30/50/65 degrees horizontal Field of View respectively on the 12MP IMX477.
  2. Why it’s better – Arducam selected from a bunch of lenses to present those five. Decent quality, no dark surroundings, FoV labeled. No more guessing and testing because we’ve already done the work for you. They just work.
  3. How to use – Pick the one you desired among the six lenses and screw it and fix it into the back focus adjustment ring on the HQ camera.
  4. CS-Mount lenses – You can get a bit more clarity, focus, and the ability to change the lens, recommended to someone who wants to get better quality for both still and video for the home security system, monitoring Octoprint 3D printer, etc.
  5. Note: Only the lenses of 12mm and 16mm focal lengths have the aperture adjustment ring, the other three have fixed apertures.

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
