AiPi-Knob factory has burned the firmware and made four demonstration interfaces: washing machine interface, RGB light interface, TV control interface, and air conditioning control interface. The Ai-Thinker AiPi-Knob V1.0 Rotary Encoder Driver Board On Board 1.28Inch Display module is equipped with a wealth of peripheral interfaces, specifically including DVP, MJPEG, Display, AudioCodec, USB2.0, SDU, Ethernet (EMAC), SD/MMC (SDH), SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, PWM, GPDAC, GPADC, ACOMP, and GPIO. AiPi-SCP-Knob integrates a screen pin interface, knobs, RGB lights, built-in audio, infrared emission and infrared reception, a download pin, an IO pin, serial download a USB interface, and an outgoing USB interface.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.

Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
